Who we are

SIM Monkey is developed and published by The Educated Monkey LLC. Privacy questions may be sent to support@educatedmonkeyco.com .

Call screening

If you select SIM Monkey as Android's caller-ID and spam app, Android can provide eligible incoming-call information to the app. SIM Monkey uses it locally to identify the receiving SIM, determine whether the caller is allowed for that SIM, and request normal or silent ringing. SIM Monkey does not answer, record, reject, or remove calls from the system call log.

Contacts

Contacts access is used locally to recognize saved callers and create a separate allowed-contact list for each active SIM. Custom lists store Android contact identifiers in local app settings. SIM Monkey does not upload, transmit, sell, or share contact names, phone numbers, or address-book contents.

Phone and SIM information

Phone permission is used to read active subscription slots, carrier labels, and the current call state of each subscription. This information is used locally to identify the SIM receiving an eligible call. SIM Monkey does not place calls, read text messages, change the default voice or data SIM, or read the Android call log.

Local activity history

The 100 most recent local diagnostic entries record calls processed by the screening service. Caller numbers are masked except for the last four digits. You can clear this history inside the app.

Data collection and sharing

SIM Monkey has no account, advertising, or analytics and does not send personal information to The Educated Monkey LLC. Local information can be removed by resetting the app, clearing app storage, or uninstalling it.

Google Play and external links

Google Play's in-app update service may check for newer versions. Opening the company website or support email uses your browser or email app, which operates under its own privacy practices.
